The moment has finally arrived
The Kreischberg ski lift is now open and the new season began! The snow cannons are spinning all the way to provide you a snow-proof skislope until
the 1st of April.
While we were waiting for the skilift to start, we were not idle, because we promised some new tasty dishes! Krausz Gábor welcomes you with a brand new street food menu this season in Waldschlössl Gasthof – come and try it yourself!
Why street food?
Since Gábor was also skiing a lot, he knows exactly what you need after an active day. Of course, one person's opinion is not everything, and the most important thing for us is to create a menu which meets the needs and wishes of all of our guests. So in the first few days, we also asked the skiers in Kreischberg what kind of food they would like most.
The answer couldn't have been simpler or better. Street food is always freshly made and it is quickly ready, so after a filling lunch, your can quickly hop back on the skilift, and
continue skiing on the 42 km long slope.
In addition to freshness and speed, the most important aspect was to prepare tasty, filling dishes, which are known in both Hungarian and Austrian cuisine. Our Hungarian guests specifically requested to include goulash soup in the menu in addition to Austrian dishes.
And the final result!
This is how our brand new street food menu was created, which features a hearty,
steaming goulash soup in addition to the Austrian pancake soup and dampfnudeln, which are rightfully popular among skiers.
Try our latest hamburger and hotdog creation, or choose the classic Viennese schnitzel, and we guarantee that you can continue skiing with a full stomach, recharged and you will be enriched with a new taste experience.
